Anton Tobias Conrade

Second-attempt with Acrylics in this fasgion and I must say I think it has come out rather well. This Is Anton Conrade; Secret Adravani noble and former commando. The rifle in his hands is an SF-95 laser pulse carbine common among imperial troops. Not pictured - his wolf-tooth necklace but it could jsut be under his shirt. The emblam he is standing in front of is the logo of the Clasian Ice wolves.

Race: Human

History: Born in the distant future, he grew up in to a ruling-class family on the wealthy planet of Minerva; a colony under the firm control of the Adravani Imperium. His father was the planetary governor while he was groing up and, typical of people of his social status, was given the best education available. While at private school he befriended students who were also students of his violin teacher.His happy childhood was shattered when his family was involved in a false scandal when he was 12 claiming he was illegitimate. Rather than face the claim his father agreed to send him and his mother outside of the Imperium and telling them that one day they could return. For 15 years he and his mother lived on an ice world, oblivious in the knowledge that his father was gaining power back home.

During his teenage years he studied at a state school and enlisted in the local militia in order to fit in with the locals. When he was 17 he enlisted in the Ice Worlves - the planet's comamndo division - under the alias of 'Kannur Fronbjorn' (a name he had been using since he and his mother's arrival) and he became a grizzled warrior, toughened under the harsh and cold conditions of his adopted home. Over the decade he became close friends with two other squadmates; Hosh and Vosh. Five years into his service he and his team were charged with hunting a giant wolf nicknamed 'Frozen Fang'. He was pinned down by the beast and through an intense struggle manage to kill it by stabbing it in the chest. His upper right arm was broken and the muscles torn after the wolf had dug it's claws in. He was administered to hospital for a month to recover but the sight of the wolf's jaws next to his face still haunts his memories.

On the outside Anton is a reserved man. he has made a habit of keeping his imperial past to himself since he had spent adolescence in a society where they were not entirely liked. When you get to know him though he generally opens up. He will passionately defend anyone who he genuinely cares about chich includes squadmates and close friends. Even though he is not proud of what his father did, He will get angry if you insult his heritage or one of his friends and people have made that mistake before.

Weakness: Although the frigid conditions of Clasis toughened him up he is still human. He can be injured, hurt or pushed around almost as easily as most other humans and without armour a few well-placed injuries will kill him. He has only made a few lasting friends in life and any of those can be used to get to him as well as saying he is not worthy of being an Adravani. The wound he suffered against Frozen Fang had left his shoulder in bad shape and even today his arm has occasional problems ranging from numbness to muscle spasms.
